Studying Political Science Enjoyable for Chad Harp

The field of political science is a vast and interesting field of study. There are a wide variety of PhD’s working in political science and examining the political issues of the day. There are countless other individuals with undergraduate and master’s degrees in the field. Essentially, the work of a political scientist is that of studying the state. Much of political science involves studying the political systems, behavior, and culture of a given society. Many things can be gleamed from such studies, allowing us to make contrasts and comparisons to other systems around the world.

Chad Harp had always had a strong interest in the world of politics. This led him to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he pursued a degree in political science. He recently graduated magna cum laude with a GPA of 3.96. During his studies, he often went after every opportunity he could to get involved in political work in the area.

Eventually, this led him to work for the Republican National Committee in Las Vegas during the past election cycle in 2012. This meant that Chad Harp was able to campaign for prominent Republican candidates for president (including Mitt Romney) and local races in the Las Vegas area. The work was incredibly exciting and very educational for Chad Harp. He was able to see first hand what goes on behind the scenes in political campaigns and within a party itself.

While Chad Harp enjoyed the study of political science very much, it isn’t quite where his full passion lies. Currently, Chad Harp is the vice president of a venture capital investment business, where his mind and heart are currently located. He will be attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas this fall to earn his MBA. This MBA will give him the necessary skills to succeed in the investment field while also making it possible for him to engage in politics later in life.

Teaching Is a Good Career Thinks Chad Harp

One of the most challenging jobs in the world is that of the teacher. Teachers are charged with preparing youth for the present and the future. They have to instill in children the skills and knowledge that they are going to rely on to navigate the world. Teachers touch the lives of so many people, yet they receive very little recognition (or pay) for their work.

Chad Harp was able to live life for two years as a teacher in a slightly different way. From 2004 through 2005, Chad Harp lived in Tokyo, Japan. There he worked for NOVA International Language School. The school focused on teaching English to businessmen as well as providing private lessons for school students looking to improve their proficiency in English.

Teaching in Japan gave Chad Harp insight into what teachers have to deal with on a daily basis. It can be overwhelming at first to know that you are responsible for the learning of an entire class. Of course, the more time one spends teaching, the better they get at accomplishing the goals they need to accomplish. Once they become proficient at that, they are able to accomplish things with their students above and beyond the goals and expectations of others.

For that reason, Chad Harp thinks that teaching is one of the most fascinating careers. The fact that one is directly influencing the present and future life of hundreds of people a year means that teachers are a unique profession. They have a daunting task ahead of them but they still persevere. Chad Harp himself didn’t have a strong enough passion for teaching to continue with the career, but he is grateful for the time he spent teaching. There really is no other way to learn about what a teacher must deal with than by doing it yourself.

Earning Good Grades Rewarding for Chad Harp

When one is engaged in scholarly effort, it can be frustrating waiting to hear back on your performance. The anxiety involved with devoting hours upon hours of your time preparing for a test or crafting a long report is amplified by the fact that after you turn in the assignment or submit your test, you will have to wait for your grades.

Chad Harp had to deal with this semester after semester at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In 2012, he graduated from the school with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Chad Harp is an excellent scholar and student, which is reflected in the fact that he finished his entire four-year program with a GPA of 3.96. This almost perfect GPA was a very rewarding result after his four years of effort in the program.

Still, every paper, project, and exam he took filled him with an anxious desire to know his grade as soon as possible. It would be nice for students everywhere to be able to have immediate feedback on their work. This normal aspect of human nature is the reason that people like the instant recognition of social media and other platforms people interact with on a daily basis.

Still, Chad Harp knew that he was putting forth his best work. Deep down he knew he would always receive good grades for his work, but it was always frustrating to wait to have that belief confirmed. Performing well in college always felt good for Chad Harp. Not only did his high grades feel good emotionally, they also set Chad Harp up for an even more successful career.

Chad Harp will be attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas MBA graduate program in the fall of 2013. He has no doubt that his academic success will carry over into his master’s degree. Sure, it will take some adjustment to how things are done in a graduate program, but Chad Harp knows he will persevere and succeed.

Time Spent at UNLV Worthwhile for Chad Harp

When people head off to college or university, they often grow very attached to their chosen school. Schools around the country try to grow this pride in their students. It’s almost always harmless and in good fun; many people should rightfully be proud of the schools they attended and graduated from. After all, the school helped you learn more about yourself, your profession, and the world, so people often feel grateful for the institution’s existence.

Chad Harp has always had a fondness for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He graduated from the school in 2012 after completing his undergraduate degree in political science. Chad Harp graduated magna cum laude with a cumulative GPA of 3.96, reflecting his professionalism and work ethic in everything he undertakes.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas was founded in 1957. The public university currently has an endowment of just under $170 million dollars. With this money, the school can support an undergraduate population of around 22,000 students and a postgraduate population of over 6,000. The location of the school isn’t far from the Las Vegas strip, which means that the university consistently ranks in the top schools for hospitality programs throughout the US. The university is also home to the state of Nevada’s only dental school and its only law school.

Chad Harp loved his studies and his political science program so much that he decided to apply for the MBA graduate program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He was accepted and will begin his MBA program in the fall of 2013. Chad Harp is looking forward to applying his excellent academic skills in the program. Had he not made the decision to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Chad Harp isn’t sure what his life would be like right now.

Motivation in Health and Career Vital to Chad Harp’s Success

There are people all over the world that wonder what they could have done with their lives had their situation been better from the start. There are others in the world who, no matter their situation, make an attempt to have the life they want to live through hard work, sweat, and tears. This applies to people’s health and their careers.

Chad Harp is one of those people who believes that he is responsible for making his life what it is today. He knows what he wants and he fights for it, taking steps toward his goals every day. One of the hardest parts of living your life this way, for Chad Harp and countless others, is the problem of motivation. It can be incredibly draining to always strive towards your goals, especially if it’s a time when your current actions don’t appear to have any relevance to your future goals.

A person may know deep down that they are working toward success, but without recognition and concrete examples of how they are succeeding, they can be discouraged. When Chad Harp felt discouraged he often spent some time away from whatever was bothering him in his quest for his goals. He always shifts his motivation to something that is productive and beneficial, like fitness and his health.

When he is able to accomplish something small, like a good workout, Chad Harp always feels re-motivated to get back to whatever challenge he was attempting to overcome in his professional or personal life. A lot of success is simply about managing your motivation and taking advantage of it when you have it. Without motivation, it’s hard for anyone, even Chad Harp, to make solid progress in their goals. Still, cultivating motivation is possible and it pays off immensely for people who stick with their goals and desires and take steps on a daily basis to achieve them.

Chad Harp Will Earn an MBA

In today’s global economy, a college degree is very useful. It means you are much more employable than someone without a degree. There are countless people returning to school at community and local colleges to get degrees in order to make them more attractive to recruiters and companies.

In many fields, however, a college degree is not enough to land a well-paying job with benefits. People need to earn degrees beyond the Bachelor’s to really stand out in the eyes of an employer. Chad Harp realized this many years ago, before he decided to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for a bachelor’s degree in political science.

The degree he earned allowed him to work for the Republican National Committee during the 2012 election. It was enjoyable and worthwhile work, but this wasn’t the sort of permanent position where someone can build a career. Knowing this, Chad Harp had already planned to apply for MBA programs around the country. Eventually, he decided to attend the MBA Graduate program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, starting in the fall of 2013.

A Master of Business Administration is a master’s degree which has been earned by people from all sorts of backgrounds and interests. One does not need to have a strong business background to succeed in an MBA program. The primary focus of MBA programs is to approach management as a science and learn the best ways to go about managing a company and/or providing value as an educated businessman or businesswoman.

Chad Harp believes that his MBA will reward him with more permanent work. In fact, he has recently been promoted to Vice President of a venture capital investment business. The MBA he will earn will play an important role in the success he has in his new position. Chad Harp is looking forward to completing the MBA program and learning the skills and knowledge that will propel his career in investment, as well as a possible return to politics.

Chad Harp Enjoyed Working for the Republican National Committee

The United States is a very large country. In fact, the US is the third largest country in the world by population. Politics plays an important role in the country due to the representative nature of state governments, local governments, and the federal government. Unfortunately, not enough people are involved in politics in the US for the representative system to work ideally.

Those that do get involved in a serious manner, often care deeply about the issues and their beliefs. Others simply enjoy the work and challenges of a political life. There are a lot of opportunities out there to work with the various political parties and representatives in order to help them get elected and help certain policies be implemented by the government.

Chad Harp has always had an interest in politics. Ever since he began following US politics, he knew that it was something he wanted to be involved in for at least for part of his life. For that reason, Chad Harp attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. During his studies, he had the prestigious opportunity to work for the Republican National Committee in Las Vegas during the 2012 presidential election. He loved the work and was able to campaign for Mitt Romney and a variety of other republican candidates in the Las Vegas area, including Joe Heck and Dean Heller.

At times, the work was very stressful. Political work during an election requires a lot of last minute adjustments and an always-on mentality so that staff can be ready for any developments or changes to a schedule. The work of campaigning is completely different from the more deliberate political work at the Republican National Committee, however.

Ultimately, the work Chad Harp accomplished was a great experience for him. He enjoyed his time at the Republican National Committee immensely and hopes to get more involved during the next big political campaigning round.

Chad Harp Believes in Education

When it comes to preparing the younger generation of a nation for the future, nothing plays a more important role than the education they receive. Education is the key to a greater understanding of life. The more educational opportunities that children have, the more opportunities they have to explore what might be their passion in life. Many young kids in America are not given the opportunities they need to discover whatever it is they are completely passionate about.

Even if they do find something they are passionate about, kids are often discouraged if this activity or interest isn’t considered mainstream or lacks a specific path to take in order to be successful.

Chad Harp has seen this happen to many people as he grew up. Later in life, he quickly learned how important education was for individuals and society. For Chad Harp, every educational opportunity he has had has only served to improve his wellbeing both personally and professionally.

In 2012, Chad Harp graduated magna cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He earned a 3.96 GPA and was able to apply his education to his work with the Republican National Committee during the 2012 election.

Not everyone has to earn top notch grades to benefit from education. Sometimes, whatever a person studies is enough to help them get on a path in their life that feels right. They are able to understand exactly what they want to earn and become in their life. Chad Harp has had that feeling and has followed through with it. In fall of 2013, he will be beginning his MBA graduate program from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in order to gain the skills and knowledge he needs to have a successful career in the investment field.

Chad Harp Thinks Tokyo Is an Awesome City

From 2004 to 2005, Chad Harp had the opportunity to teach English at the NOVA International Language School in Japan. He decided to seize this opportunity and moved to Tokyo immediately upon being accepted into the program. He was excited to teach English, learn Japanese, and see Japan with his own eyes. Plus, the idea of living abroad was a very exciting one for Chad Harp at the time.

Upon moving to Tokyo, Chad Harp was amazed at the vast size of Tokyo. The city was overwhelmingly large but he never felt uncomfortable going about his daily life. The people of Japan are very polite and honorable, so it was easy for a foreigner like Chad Harp to get around and do the things he needed to do.

As he spent more time in Tokyo, Chad Harp began to appreciate the more interesting aspects of the city besides its size and the kindness of its resident. He was really amazed at everything Tokyo had to offer. One can literally find every interest in the planet in Tokyo.

The metropolitan area of Tokyo is home to about 35 million people, making it the most populated metropolitan center in the world. This means space is at a premium and the Japanese people have adapted to make use of every bit of space they have. This also means that the Japanese tend to think vertically and not horizontally, like in the United States. One of the coolest aspects of some of Tokyo’s buildings was the variety that existed in one structure.

Chad Harp found buildings that housed a restaurant on one floor, with a bowling alley on the floor above it, an office space above that, and topped off with a karaoke bar on the top. Buildings with similar configurations are littered all over the city and give Tokyo a uniqueness that not many other cities have.
